  We need more Hectors and fewer Agamemnons and Achilles in the world.

  But overall enjoyed this loose adaptation of the Iliad. Pacing was a bit slow but I think overall it was a decent adaptation considering the length of the source material. History nerd in me appreciates the the attention to detail in having the set and costuming accurately depicting Bronze Age civilization rather than the classical Greece were all familiar with.

  What was once science fiction is now all too real. Ultimately a very moving film with an incredible cast. Having Joaquin Phoenix’s Theodore be a masterful letter writer who struggled to express himself in person was a great choice.

  If more horror movies were like this it would be a much better genre. Also probably one of the best movies that takes place in DC. Kind of reminded me of a religious version of Apocalypse Now - both featuring a jaded protagonist who proceeds to delve into the depths of hell.
