elsie fisher is really, really good in this. probably one of the most accurate portrayals of a teenager that i've seen on film. also, i never thought that anna meredith's 'nautilus' would fit so well with a pool party scene, but bo never ceases to surprise me.

this is a weird one. Ducourneau does a fantastic job of creating a constant unease that builds and builds, along with incredibly realistic gore that meant that I spent a significant amount of time watching it through my fingers. Very well shot and acted. I do have questions, though:
