  Texas Chainsaw meets Carrie… I love a good old villain back story and definitely makes me curious to watch X now. As a movie it’s got a unique charm mixed with insanity, which coincides with Pearls character throughout and how those feelings of neglect and loneliness and bloodlust clash with her longing to be a dancer.

  A celebration of oddness and all things macabre, with some great lines and imaginative scenes, was giving Tim Walker / Dali vibes. Loved the visual journey into Bella’s distorted world through fish eye lens, dreamlike set design and use of otherworldly sound effects that change in tone throughout, gives a unique perspective into her mind.  Some darkly comical moments and you can’t help but get sucked in to her strange world and unique but also liberating way of thinking.
