  I watched this an eternity ago when I was younger but I remember thinking it was really sweet and relatable in some aspects. Definitely needs a rewatch but for now 4/5 😎

  I thought it was a sweet portrayal of the lessons we learn and invincibility we feel during adolescence. Before seeing the movie I saw a YouTube video talking about how the timelines are color coded and I thought it was really creative for Greta Gerwig to use that to keep the ending ambiguous. I know in the book Jo gets married but I don’t think she actually does in the movie. I might need to rewatch this again at some point

  I really thought it was gonna delve into the rom com aspect of it a bit more but I liked the direction it ended up taking. It sorta reminds me of that one tumblr post I kept seeing circulate on TikTok where someone pretends they’ve already died and asked God to send them back to experience and cherish the world again. The same sentiment of how we should love our lives with the time we’re gifted can be found here as well. The father-son relationship crushed me a bit, I wish dads were real.
