This film depicts, I don’t know what to call it—the banality of evil?— of this patriarchal civilization and the kinds of predation it enables, like the world is just a hunting ground and half of the world is prey, all captured in a style palatable for Netflix. Overall, the film seems to offer the view that, as outlying as their behavior appears, serial killers are like a fruiting body of less-than visible-networks (this film makes them visible) and are not an exception to, but an organic outgrowth of, these systems. love AK
