    If there's a way to revamp old silent films and bring them to modern audiences, this is absolutely the way to do it.

    Nosferatu tells a gripping story of love while keeping all the tension and intrigue of a slow-burn horror film. It doesn't pull its punches when it comes to the horror, but it does take a little bit of time to get there.     As abstract as the plot can get, the angsty underlying themes hit close to home. The cinematography is beautiful, with each room matching the characters perfectly. Araki's refusal to shy away from uncomfortable and taboo topics in such a raw way allows the viewer to connect with the movie in a way I haven't felt from any other director.
