  If there's a way to revamp old silent films and bring them to modern audiences, this is absolutely the way to do it.

  Nosferatu tells a gripping story of love while keeping all the tension and intrigue of a slow-burn horror film. It doesn't pull its punches when it comes to the horror, but it does take a little bit of time to get there. The cinemetography was beautiful, with the dreary and cold color pallete complimeting the film perfectly.…

  As abstract as the plot can get, the angsty underlying themes hit close to home. The cinematography is beautiful, with each room matching the characters perfectly. Araki's refusal to shy away from uncomfortable and taboo topics in such a raw way allows the viewer to connect with the movie in a way I haven't felt from any other director.

  This is a strange film to review. For one, I am not well-versed enough in racial slurs to be able to identify their use here, so this will be from a purely plot and acting perspective.

  Highs: There are some cheeky moments and some stand-out scenes, like the music video or the chip shop scene. Coach's character was by far my favorite, as his relationship with his "lads" adds some much-needed depth and care to a movie full of stone-faced…
