this movie was pretty silent with no crazy compelling plot, but I’m a sucker for melodramatic movies like these
The yearning Sidonie had for Marie was so intense and I wish the movie also showed a bit more love from Gabrielle to Marie- Gabrielle did not seem that distressed at all for leaving Marie especially in the carriage scene
I loved the portrayal of the slow tension building in Versailles as the Revolution started to form and that it showed both the lavish and gritty side
Now ill have to read the book this movie was based on
