  Oh my god, this was great. I now totally get (and buy) the idea of this being the best Macbeth adaptation.   Haven’t seen this since I was a kid. Forgot how well done it is. The use of real zero gravity (thanks vomit comet) is what sells it. Hanks is a great tragic American hero and you can see how he goes from this to Philadelphia, Saving Private Ryan, etc. But the whole ensemble, the script, it’s all geared towards the human drama rather than the spectacle.
