While it sucked how Serious died in a literal split second, but I guess that’s just how Avada Kadavra works. The cgi is good, we got more Voldemort and Umbrige was a good secondary villian and made me hate her. Snape grows on me more and more as these movies go on. My gripe with the series itself so far is when dumbledore is beam clashing with Voldemort, you have a disarming spell vs an instant death spell, that’s a little unbalanced in my opinion.

The slice of life for the first third of this movie is nice, sucks our first major Hufflepuff gets merc’d in his first movie. I almost wanted a little more time to breathe in the dance section with heroine being upset with Harry and Ron, but I’m sure I’ll get more as the movies go on. According to my book aficionado, they cut alot from the book that would’ve been nice to see.
