Picked this up at the library on DVD which really added to the watching experience. I had no clue what this movie was about going into it. It starts out heavy and only gets heavier. Aged like wine in the most depressing way. I recommend watching once. Truly a masterpiece in the category of dystopian world-building.

A Complete Unknown 2024
I like Timothee and Bobby D so this was a shoe-in. I love the music and that they let songs play out. The pacing was good and breezed right through the typical biopic plot points. It’s all about the music and none about who this Bob Dylan guy is. I like it like that.

People really hyped this up before my viewing. It’s a fun ride and has a lot of stand out moments. When the credits hit I had questions about plot devices left unexplained rather than having any sort of reflective/introspective moment. You know, the type of moment that usually comes after watching a hype-worthy film. I think the hype stems from people’s fear of period blood.
