Every second I enjoyed Rachel Zegler in this was completely ruined by how much I HATED Gal Gadot in this. Why hasn’t Hollywood realized she’s just an untalented incredibly beautiful woman? Like she can find work but Alexandra Daddario can’t? I just don’t get it.

I really did love Zegler in this though. Another one on my “will watch anything she’s in” list. She almost carries this to above average but Gadot’s god awful performance in both acting and singing brings this to exactly meh.

A really fun time with Kiki. Just based off of this and Nope, she’s easily entered “oh she’s in that? I’m in” territory.

Also, SZA can act too?????? What can’t girl do?

Funny moments throughout, with a little bit of a lacking in story (but for a theater comedy in 2025, gotta cut it some slack).

Been meaning to see this for a long time and finally got the chance on the big screen and WOW I’ve been missing out. This movie is PHENOMENAL. The fight scenes are so goddamn good, even with all the goofy flying stuff going on.

There’s a couple nitpicky things I can point out, especially how long it takes to get to most of the fight scenes, but the movie definitely overcomes that when it kicks off.

Also, I think I fell in love with 2000 Ziyi Zhang (and probably 2023 version of her too)

My wife being devout Catholic has really pushed me into watching (and thoroughly enjoying) catholic horror these last few years. Even the bad ones (I’m looking at you Prey For The Devil) I find something to enjoy, even if it’s just the knockoff novelty of it trying to be The Exorcism. That’s not what Consecration is going for at all, but it finds its own little niche that I enjoyed.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews talk about how slow…
