I think he was going for more of a satanic panic than a buffalo bill, but i totally see where the discourse is coming from. Lead actress was great. Really compelling, love the constant sense of dread present throughout the film. I see all the comparisons to silence of the lambs, and while I get it, this feels pretty squarely in its own lane. If nic cage has zero fans i am dead.
