I really liked this movie from the get go. the thirds in this movie are beautiful and the use of the low depth of field was so cool. the softened it created captured the dark and sensual aesthetic of the club. the movie did a great job keeping you as much in the dark as ani was as the relationship develops and collapses. also mikey madison ate that up even tho i think her english accent did slip in a little. also so many boobs. i think i need another rewatch for an in depth review but i really enjoyed it.

this movie was phenomenal. it was beautiful and so incredibly heart warming. the use of the steady cam with tight lenses made you feel as if you were there with the family. also very interesting watching a road trip comedy while working on one. this is obviously a lot more of a dramady than what ive been on but still felt very familiar. just a truly beautiful movie both cinematically and story wise. the familial love and support is just truly so beautiful. who needs to win when you have a family that really truly loves you for you.

crazy how when a production has a ridiculous budget and uses as many practical effects as possible that the movie actually turns out pretty good. very nostalgic to see the first broadway show i ever saw with my mom again and the star studded cast went crazy. ariana was actually so funny??? like what? i forget she is a great comedic actor and cynthia is definitely going to get that mf EGOT. my biggest thing is they are all so…

This movie honestly just keeps getting better as you rewatch it. you get a totally different viewing experience knowing who spiked the punch and it’s crazy to feel like you somehow missed something so obvious. the little details are insane and i still can’t believe this is an unscripted movie with dancers rather than professional actors. this has truly made me into a gaspar noe fan and i can’t wait to watch more of his films.
