Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 2022
very different for a mcu film of this era cos chadwick boseman (t'challa)'s absense is very much felt here to the point where it feels like the film is lacking it's focal character for the first half hour of the film. not like an amazing main plot outside of a charismatic villain but I was rlly surprised by how mature and different this film's portrayal of grief could get

a lot of things here that were completely new to me, maybe that's because I don't often dabble in tragedy stories, but the shift that happens around halfway in was a really interesting one.

finally learning to love this movie after learning that my stipulation against this movie was based on a british lie, and this movie is actually called "the avengers" and not "avengers assemble". previously I was irate at the fact that they spend much of the movie doing the opposite of assembling, but now I know that it's not the intention and I can fully enjoy all the gay shit and toxic yaoi and bruce banner moe moments
