  As far as biopics go, I found the subject matter interesting, the historical facts pretty well placed in a narrative structure, and George C. Wolfes point of view vital to the story telling. This is also a Colman Domingo Stan account 💛

  There are many complicated responses to an admittedly complicated movie. I may not have the full experience to speak on the nuances of the backlash but part of me wants to give it a chance, because I was so drawn in by the first scenes with Zoe Saldana.

  Edit: I think I just like the choreography and the actors, and then they continuously get under- or misused.
