  I think this movie catches a lot of flak for having the dumb 24 hour marathon but to me it’s still a top of the line Xmas movie and good just in general. Humor still holds up surprisingly well and it’s very well paced too. If you hate this movie you just might not have an inner kid anymore!

  A worthy sequel. Every part involving Frodo, Sam, and Gollum is great, easily the best parts. Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli are equally as great and the chemistry is awesome, though their scenes between when they meet Gandalf again and Helms Deep could drag quite a bit. Aragorn does establish himself as the best guy though by being unkillable and refusing to let women be soldiers. Merry and Pippin’s treehugging was the slowest and most boring but I guess that’s just…
