  no notes. except that hearing the teenage girls next to me quietly crying at the moments when i too was quietly crying…. that was nice.

  it is sad to wait forever to see something you’ve watched do the festival circuit and apparently do well… only to be severely disappointed by it. I haven’t cared less about main characters in a minute. If lycanthropy is supposed to be some queer metaphor, why does it matter that it’s hereditary? it’s stuck in the awkward place between mood piece and trying to say something… only to fall flat.
  Saved only by a great score and production design.
