A Working Man isn’t a bad movie but it is kind of meh. Too convoluted with storylines introduced and not finished. And considering the main character is former special ops, he leaves himself fairly easy to track. Don’t go into Mickey 17 thinking it’s a comedy because it’s mostly definitely not, even though there are some funny moments. Mickey 17 is classic Bong Joon-ho, with critiques on class and the individual fulfillment. It’s a movie that’s grand but also very intimate in setting. Robert Pattinson does an amazing job playing the multiples and giving them different personalities. It’s a refreshing sci-fi movie that is not quite a classic but solid nonetheless.

Oof. There isn’t an amount of eye candy in the world that could’ve saved Madame Web, especially with Dakota Johnson’s uninterested performance. However I didn’t find Sydney Sweeney oddly endearing in her performance. I still enjoyed this more than Morbius but I don’t know how much more of these Spider-Manless movies I could take.
