The fact that Jojo didn’t know where his mom was and replied to the inspectors—‘she has been busy’ —and later he goes around town to get necessities ( e.g, food). Right after, he find his mom in an open area of town hung up. Cries while no one seems to be near or around to see his suffering.

“I can’t bear the thought of being forgotten.” One of many lines of the movie that will stick with me forever.
This line of the movie made me think back to when I wrote something down in my notes app about how people didn’t make themselves known in this lifetime and being forgotten. While also having this idea of making myself known in my lifetime but not sure how I will make myself known.
Overall this movie destroyed me emotionally…
