  The Monkey 2025

  Perkin’s back to back horror duology, this and Longlegs, are visually interesting. I think this succeeded more than Longlegs, like an expansion of the same language and style. 

  The use of angles on the monkey, on the deaths, and on the general scenery had me focused even when the story and writing were letting me go. Some moments were just so goofy but not in a bad way? More just distracting.

  Making Theo James play twins, is just so… okay…
