  I Saw the TV Glow 2024

  As a neglected kid I grew up with a small black and white portable TV. 8" screen, large extending antenna, built in handle and powered by 6 D batteries. I took that with me to whatever room I occupied and watched whatever was on. The TV filled the silence and the syndicated sitcoms formed so much of my sense of self.
