  I love screwball comedies and this one had a nice premise, but the story gets so lost and Melvyn Douglas character is insufferable. Also, the terrible animal violence scenes played as "jokes".

  There were so many weird cuts, I had to look up if I got a different version. The pacing was really bad, this film felt rushed but at the same time I just wanted it to end.
  I thought having to look at F. Fay's face, even for a few minutes, would be bad enough... but the film is bad, not funny. Lombard and March couldn't save it with what they had and it aged badly, even for 1937.

  The Unfaithful 1947

  A solid drama. This movie really surprised me in a good way. Not having the woman been "crucified" for her mistakes, as we see so much in media (even nowadays), but to at least try to understand her. To see this in a 1947 movie was really something nice.
  Ann Sheridan gives a really good performance. I can't wai to see more movies she's in, Sheridan is becoming one of my favourite OH actresses.
