the abuse of gromit comes to what i can only hope is the peak in this installment. why he continues to put up with wallace’s bullshit is beyond me. wallace used to be flawed but mostly redeemable, now they’ve reduced him to a completely oblivious inventor reminiscent of any ai mogul (the metaphors are not subtle). way more ai gnomes than i was led to believe, not enough feathers mcgraw. also gets points docked for portraying the cops as good…

The Blazing World 2021
anyone saying anything good about anything but the visuals is lying to you or missing so much. this was abysmal. pretentious and extremely self indulgent, attempting to copy so many iconic stories/directors and doesn’t get any of it. downright offensive to the issue of mental health in its portrayal in the film. i watched the entire thing waiting for some redeeming aspect but it never came.
