  I think the experience I had watching this was supplemented a lot with my own thoughts on what it means to be Korean and be an artist but I don’t think the film is complete enough to take responsibility for evoking visceral emotional reactions . Idk. I wanted to like this a lot more than I did. I think it spent too much time in the wrong places and didn’t delve more into what I was really interested in about him as an artist. Felt kind of surface level which feels like a betrayal to his work in some way
