20 Days in Mariupol 2023
I remember thinking once or twice “I’m never going to be able to get that image out of my head” but brains are funny, and now I can’t remember the images themselves at all. What I can remember is the clawing feeling of terror and powerlessness, like someone was pressing on my windpipe and then occasionally randomly letting go. I’m glad I was brave enough to watch this film, I wouldn’t always have been.
