  Pretty straightforward mid-budget mystery, a real "how's this bad man gonna weasel his way out of THIS bucket o' syrup" of a movie (kinda like Trap).

  I feel like if this came out in 1998 we could all be watching it on TNT on a hungover Sunday, balled up on a couch right after A Perfect Murder.
