  The animation in this and art style is perhaps the best I’ve seen. Stylistically, it feels like a graphic novel come to life. The plot and characters were engaging too, but I felt that some parts of it were lost on me either due to funkiness in dubbing or my own lack of cultural knowledge in Chinese culture. (Also, apparently Space Type powers are translated differently in the sub? I need to watch the sub to verify this though.)

  I would, just in the sheer basis of its artstyle and characters, recommend this film. It’s top tier.
