  This movie feels like far-right infighting. It's like I'm watching a battle between two weird and esoteric fascisms and that's just kinda fascinating. The uninterrogated fascistic assumptions probably make it very pernicious but I don't have any deeply felt sense of that because to me they just read as particularly silly elements in a whacky fantasy world.
  It's broadly a good movie. The writing is solid and there are some genuinely hilarious moments.

  Extremely badly written. Val Kilmer managed to give his character some life but there's very little else positive I can say about this movie.

  Poverty and instability aren't systemic violence that weigh on your mind and soul until you're incapable of even imagining the future. Actually they're noble and romantic and beautiful and amazon warehouses pay "great money".
