  Gravity 2013

  ★★★★½ Added

  This is an amazing movie. It's not often we see something truly new and original at the cinema. Loved Sandra Bullock, which surprised me. I thought Clooney was a bit miscast, but it didn't detract from the film. The only other complaint I would have is that I thought the music was a bit heavy-handed, but otherwise this is pretty much a perfect film. And the sort of film that needs to be seen in a movie theatre.

  This is a wonderful little film, but not particularly an easy watch. But I love how we get to keep checking in with these two every 8 or 10 years. Hopefully Celine will be a bit less crazy next time we see her!

  Thoughts: This should be a TV show instead. Really liked the villain -- all villains should speak South African from now on. Jodie Foster's calves creeped me out. The robot FX were pretty amazing. Really like this director.
