  Very strange, funny, uncomfortable and entertaining. It reminded me a lot of Brazil. The portrayal of the "leaders" of this hollowed out tech cult was spot on. I bet that's what Christopher Columbus was like to work for in 1492.

  Very different from Fury Road, but every bit as good. It didn't have the frenetic pedal-to-the-medal adrenaline as FR, but makes up for it with great charecters that we get to know through talking and intereacting, rather than killing and exploding. And the action we do get is every bit as good as the last one. I was pumping my fist watching the paragliding guys dropping bombs on the war rig. Also Chris Hemsworth is so god damn good. Great bad guy!

  Rewatched in anticipation of the new one and boy does it hold up. There is no redemption in running to your own personal oasis, only in fighting and dying for a better world for everyone. Also I loved that the gas pedal was a Brannock device.
