An all-timer for me.
Incredibly lucid feeling project. Serious, serious writing, directing, editing, acting. Some of the most earnest and genuine work I’ve ever seen
A period of time absolutely worthy of a dedicated film, and thank god it’s been made with this much quality.

Anomalisa 2015
Getting through the Kaufman films again, or at least his main body, has been on my mind for around 6 months now. I really liked how original his stuff came off the first time I went through them, and I was insanely frustrated that my 15 year old brain just didn’t really get much of a grip on it.
