  Twin Peaks 1989

  This stuff is the absolute juice man. 

  Such a campy feeling that’s quick to write off, but the charm keeps you there. The craft and the love. And then you realise that it’s not campy, not in a derogatory way anyway. There is such a prolific sense of undeterred belief in this project, everyone coming together to realise this strange, surreal northern mystery. 

  TP is immediately memorising. The feel of the entire thing echoes naught but achievement and influence; a true contribution to the world of art.

  Nosferatu 2024

  Didn’t realise how much of a horror this was, so genuinely had my eyes covered for a bit of it (wuss). 

  However, Nosferatu is so good! Easily Egger’s best and just feels like he’s cooking from start to finish. First scary film I’ve seen Skarsgard in and he’s elite, just so sinister and twisted and brilliant as the lead alongside an absolutely phenomenal LRD. 
  That’s not to discredit the rest of the cast by any means, I love Hoult in…

  A tight little drama / thriller about something I thought I wouldn’t be all that fussed about. Turns out it’s quite an interesting setting. 

  Entire cast are cracking, and the cinematography is awesome!
