This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This is like the one time the “the main characters all die at the end of the movie” works for me. For one thing, it’s supposed to be kind of horrifying and the fourth wall breaks make the whole relationship of the audience with the killers and events that transpire eerily worse. It almost like guilt trips you for watching the movie because you know it’s gonna be a violent experience. It’s telling you like “you got what you wanted.”
