This was exactly what I expected a Stavvy feature film would be. Good jokes and an absolutely ridiculous plot line.
Overall I enjoyed it as a fun stoner flick and while Stavvy is a somewhat unserious actor, he really delivers a comedic performance that helps a lot of the jokes and absurd moments land.

Felt like this movie sits in a unique niche of war films that don't glamorize war or make it “Hollywood”, and yet it’s still not an “anti war” film. The immersion and coordination was well done and I think everyone has a choice of what rising young male actor they can love in this one. Also, the sound design is incredible. I really wanted to like this one. As a fan of FlyLo’s music I thought he definitely had some creative and fun ideas for a sci-fi horror.
It is very obvious that the film is influenced by a lot of legendary sci-fi horror, namely Alien and The Thing. However, there isn’t a leap or risk that was taken to branch out from those movies, and it ultimately misses the mark because it drew inspiration but failed to create something new.…
