The Invention of Lying 2009
This movie was genuinely upsetting. They had such an insane cast and a great idea this movie could have done sooo well if they took their time with the story. You’re watching it and it’s making you upset due to the obvious ball drops and multiple contradictions in the plot. What could have been smh 😓

Hot diggity dog! Great movie. I don’t really see Jeremy Allen whites casting spot in here but he killed it (no pun intended). Julia wanted the mom to slap Fritz (dad) and tell him to be a parent!!! I think this is the first movie I’ve seen with Mr Efron and I must say I was impressed. That closing scene was killer tho… “I used to be a brother” ouch. Highly recommend! 9.2/10

This movie is just all time for me. The cinematography, the setting, the plot, the acting, soundtrack, everything about this movie I freaking loved. I’m also a big fan of Mr. Wes but this and fantastic Mr. Fox are two of my favorite movies but I feel like I had to diversify my top4. This movie will always be my #1 and a comfort watch for me

Did not know what was happening for the last 1.5 hours of the movie, and can’t say I quite understood the first hour that well anyways. Maybe that’s a skill gap on my end or this movie was just not it, Star Wars is still better. Also I should’ve been watching with subtitles on that’s really where I messed up
