  I want to give this movie 5 stars so bad bc I adore so much about it. I just can't get over how thorny consent and (possible) manipulation is. It kind of hangs over the movie and gives it a slight undercurrent of horror for me.

  Love the theme of greed and generosity. The bath house’s status quo of transactional relationships is upended by Sen’s generous spirit. 

  There’s def a critique of capitalism in here for people smarter than me to pull out.
