  Monkey works. 
  It’s more honest than a sanitised Queen™ style biopic which I appreciate..but it is choc full of clichés and emotionally instructive with its choices - particularly towards the end. It’s as if there’s a panic that we haven’t cried yet so take THIS (cue big song with childhood flashbacks) 

  Choreography is mint tho - and there are nice chunks of the film that are loads of fun.

  Aw man so fucking good. The slow contemplative start to the film and speeding up the pace rolling down the hill to the burning car crash fire of power by the end was super imo. + What a score by Zimmer.

  Don’t love the Walken casting but overall top tier choices. 

  Also PROPs to the infrared black and white scenes - insane work from lighting + camera crew because that looked tapped.
