  mystics in bali made a huge impression on me when i first discovered it in my early 20s and since then i've always been hungry for more 80s indonesian black magic horror. the queen of black magic sadly has less flying head monsters (though it still has one - this is indonesia after all) and is generally a bit less sleazy but still pretty fun

  well i didn't understand a word since i don't speak hindi and couldn't find subtitles anywhere but put this on for vibes. great music, some fun giallo-like scenes! 

  wish these ramsay brothers movies would get some restorations and subtitles

  what can you say about this - a friedkin masterpiece

  breathtakingly shot and edited - in the first 10 minutes i knew this was going to be a 5 star banger. not cops as anti-heros, but cops as a malignant criminal organization, infecting all in the city. friedkin's incredible talent takes the trap that all of this meaningless violence puts people in and lends it a supernatural, eternal menace through visuals alone
