Gregg Araki movies are so beautiful and so ugly at the same time. They have so much life and they look so good and they're so raw and pointedly angry. I love em. I think watching nothing but Jackass and Gregg Araki movies might make me into the perfect male

Enough bold ideas, wacky moments and occasional interesting images to be worth seeing but, at the same time, a really terrible movie that made no sense and looked like shit with awful colours and textures. I was as excited as anyone to see this, but it really wasn't fun or wacky enough to get away with how all-over-the-place it was. Hideous cgi, bad performances of paperthin characters (by great actors!), a completely pointless 'fourth wall break' scene, convoluted plot.

A harsh three stars cause I love Sean baker and I was pretty disappointed by this. It starts strong and Mikey Madison and her Russian boyf are fantastic but her character is so thin and it just loses all steam once Ivan leaves. I found the hunt for him so tedious and the whole thing just seemed to unfold exactly as you'd expect. Some great visuals as you'd expect but nowhere near as visually rich as his previous movies.
