The Leopard 1963
On the one hand, incredibly mad at the adaptation. On the other, I'm so glad it was a 60s Communist that directed it. Imagine the damage a 2020s one would do! It's still a beautiful movie.

The key element that makes this movie fascinating is that Justin knows there is no justice for him: no jury will believe he was sober because of his past. In the same way James' jury doesn't believe he's innocent because of his past. So it's never about getting justice, it's about picking injustices. Very cool, Clint!
