Really good performances from everyone, especially the natives. The parallels between Columbus's exploitation and the filmmakers exploitation of the natives were also really cool to see. The whole set pieces at the end were amazing, the chaos felt so realistic in the protest.

Longlegs 2024
Really good at letting tension slowly build until the final sequences. There are actually a lot of good scary scenes with Nicolas Cage that don't just rely on jumpscares or other generic tropes. Not just a straightforward detective story, but much more atmospheric; I'm really excited to see how Perkins keeps building this style in the future.

Favorite movie of all time. Just chaos and pure anxiety building up to an unforgettable ending. The pacing is relentless, with the constant movement of the camera between scenes and so much overlapping dialogue between the characters. I was not expecting Adam Sandler to be this good, definitely one of his best performances.
