  Never quite clicked for me like McDonagh's other movies. The big questions never felt fully committed to, and it didn't have enough laughs to work as a comedy. In Bruges uses comedy to drive the drama, whereas in this it only detracted from it. I'd be curious to see another director with different sensibilities take a stab at this without the comedy.

  Really didn't like this one. Not sure why I expected something thoughtful on trying to be perfect etc.. but the messaging was just awful. If you know me a movie lives and dies in my estimation by the meaning its conveying. Where to start...
