Full River Red 2023
Fully ignorant of the era of Chinese history that is this film's setting, so lots of meaning lost on me. That being said, did not care for the constant running-down-corridors-with-terrible-background-music transitions, or the slapstick sound effects involving a fan, or the color desaturation in the large majority. Did enjoy the palace intrigue, and the lead performances. (The subtitled translation of the poem is pretty far from the version that is the top of google.)
