so, so unbelievably well done. truly a movie where you can feel the care and heart that was put into it within every single detail. it brings me unfathomable joy that this won the oscar because it couldn't be more deserving. it's heartening to know that films made for the sake of telling (or rather showing, in the case of this movie) a beautiful story — rather than trying to rake in as much money as possible — can receive the acclaim they deserve!

Blue Sunshine 1977
i was thoroughly entertained by this movie, as weird as it was! more humorous than scary, but there were a few really well done moments that felt quite tense. ann cooper really shone for me and i was disappointed her character didn't play a bigger role in the overall story. and what an... interesting... way to end the movie...
but i also loved just how seventies it was. bring back discotheques in malls!
