It was very boring and nonsensical. Absolutely incredible cast that was hindered by a piss poor script. The entire time you're waiting for the big aha moment but it never comes. Lots of beautiful scenes and great ideas but it needed to be tightened up to be good. I can see potential but i just don't think it was utilized. There's no resolution to the plot it just ends. It's been a long time since a film has made me feel so much while watching. I was both viscerally uncomfortable with the imagery and in awe of it. The ending instilled such a feeling of dread and horror that I can only describe it as haunting. The movies message rings true that there is still time, but not an infinite amount. The trans allegory was really well done but I do wish it were more subtle in some places and more overt in others. Overall, a true work of art that I know I won't stop thinking about anytime soon.
