I was TRICKED into watching this 3 hour book-to-musical-to-movie, thinking it would be the full Wicked story, just for the title card to include “Part One” — A mockery! The entire movie was the trailer. They showed EVERYTHING that happens in the trailer!! Bad! Bad!!!!

Fun action movie. Cool battle + fight scenes. Will be thinking about the fucked up monkey fight for years to come. I liked the performances of everyone involved, Denzel was interesting, Paul and Pedro are always beloved. Bonus points because you don’t need to watch Gladiator to follow this story, it gives you enough context to get what’s going on.
