Far be it from me to shit in someone’s Fruit Loops, but I thought this was pretty awful! Really running thin on inspiration, this series. The first one of these was a fairly original thought that I came to like even it it felt pretty uneven; the second one was like a copy of a copy that still had some steam but the seams were clearly showing. Eraserhead 1977
To be honest they should show this for those middle/high school contraceptive education classes instead of the week-long slideshows.
The vibes of this are so mortifying, so originally gross, so memorable. The scariest part of the entire movie, to me, is Henry's first vision with the Girl in the Radiator. Frightening in a very unusual, primal way; the economic anxiety is off the charts.
God Lynch.
