    You've Got Mail

    ★★★½

Characters in You’ve Got Mail, ranked by how much I want to kiss them.

    15.   Schulyer Fox/John Randolph —  Old! Mean! Pass!
    14.   Veronica Grant/Deborah Rush — Barely a character and deeply & problematically rich.
    13.   George Pappas/Steve Zahn — Too... Zahny? Idk he will never do it for me
    12.   Nelson Fox/Dabney Coleman — Silver Fox (pun intended) but too into younger women. It’s gross tbh!
    11.   Gillian Quinn/Cara Seymour — One note and boring.…

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie

    ★★★½

This movie does star one of my favorite comedians (Daffy Duck) so I might be grading on a curve, but this is so simple and silly that I just enjoyed my time throughout. It’s close in pacing to an Aardman film, giving us sequences that never overstay their welcome while getting as many laughs as possible.
More soft chuckles then belly laughs, but I’m just glad this exists and I hope that this clearly cheap movie makes enough to have future clearly cheap sequels with my other friends like Road Runner and Bugs Bunny.

By no means a total flop, but this movie really fails to live up to many of Director Bong’s films. It feels very sloppily written and a lot of the movie feels far looser then should be expected. There are some great jokes and I was impressed with the visual effects, but some of the performances just land with a thump.

Most egregious is the Trumpy “jokes” of the movie. I can’t tell if it’s trying to be satirical in…

How has it taken me this long to watch this masterpiece? This is gold, and is a perfect look at society when confronted with itself. Every Juror has his problems, and each is just as pained as the next. Sidney Lumet is a genius, able to shoot plain dialogue and make it thrilling. I've known the ending, considering it is quite evident what will happen from the beginning, but who the hell care? This was damn near perfect, gaining every…

Irreverent. That means showing a lack of respect for people or things that are taken seriously. It is not a definition typically considered good or kind, but that is the only word that I can think of to describe The Grand Budapest Hotel, one of the best movies I have seen all year. Look at one scene in particular, when a man is running for his life. You are sitting on the edge of your seat, but not for fear…
