Brilliantly directed, flawlessly acted, beautifully shot. The Brutalist is an exceptionally beautiful and deeply heartbreaking story about the broken promise of the American Dream. It’s absolutely gorgeous in every way. Even the opening credits were stunning. I was lucky enough to see it on 35mm and it was wonderful. I love that they used Vistavision.
