Yeah dude, this movie rocked. The editing and music was prime 90s. Run Lola Run type techno hype. The script was better than I expected for the subject matter, and the acting paired well with it. The typical “comic book moments” were epic and made you go “ohhhh yeah” like the Kool-aid man. The sunglasses catch? Beating up a “cop” in broad daylight in front of 100s of pedestrians that didn’t bat an eye, saying “go home” to a little girl that almost got hit by a truck? Killing your vampire mom?! Yeah, pretty much the coolest hero to do it.

Although only 2 episodes have been released so far, I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s absolutely beautiful, the acting is great, the cinematography is gorgeous, the writing is very well done, and you can tell every culture depicted, (Japan, England, Portugal, etc.), were studied greatly to portray this uncharted world in the 1600s. This is a very dialogue heavy show in the best way, as it immerses you in the politics and feuds of all sides. Can’t wait for more!
